    To extend this concept just a little further, I recently
needed to import a hi-res still to Intel platforms here at work,
and first had to convert the image to .tif(f) format.  I also had
to use an enormously helpful utility called "Splitz & Joinz"
(that's close, anyway) which carved the 1.9 M image into 3 pieces
on the Amiga side, and then rejoined them on the Intel side.
